Application fit

Where these parts are used

Find the product that matches the assembly you are building. Each use lists the catalogue parts that apply.

  1. Appliances

Contact and spring parts that sit inside appliance switches and controls.

  2. Electric curtains

Switch springs for electric curtain controls.

  3. Power electronics

Kits, base plates and power terminals used to assemble IGBT modules.

  4. Smoke alarms

A metal shielding cover and a separate PVC insect-proof mesh for alarm assemblies.

Tooling to production

From drawing to inspected part

Drawing review, tooling, production and inspection are planned around each component's requirements.

  1. Step 1

    Drawings

Your drawing or sample defines the part. CAD, DWG, STEP, PDF and IGS files are accepted.

    • CAD
    • DWG
    • STEP
    • PDF
    • IGS
  2. Step 2

    Tooling

Stamping and moulding tooling is prepared with in-house machining equipment.

  3. Step 3

    Stamping and injection

Parts are formed on automatic presses or moulded on injection machines.

  4. Step 4

    Inspection

Finished parts pass through the inspection workshop before they are packed.

Materials and finishes

Match the alloy to the job

General characteristics of the materials we work with. Final material choice is confirmed against your drawing. PVC is a plastic used for accessories only.

  • Copper

    Type: Metal

Typical role: Current-carrying contacts and terminals

High electrical conductivity; soft, so used where spring force is not critical.

    9 products

  • Brass

    Type: Metal

Typical role: Terminals, sleeves and sheet parts

Copper-zinc alloy that stamps and machines readily with good conductivity.

    13 products

  • Phosphor bronze

    Type: Metal

    Typical role: Spring contacts

Copper-tin alloy chosen where repeated flexing and conductivity are both needed.

    10 products

  • Beryllium copper

    Type: Metal

    Typical role: High-strength spring contacts

Copper alloy that can be heat treated to a high spring strength.

    1 product

  • Stainless steel

    Type: Metal

Typical role: Springs and structural parts

Corrosion-resistant steel; lower conductivity than copper alloys.

    12 products

  • Manganese steel

    Type: Metal

Typical role: Spring and force parts

Material grade and heat treatment are selected to suit the part specification.

    8 products

  • Tinplate

    Type: Metal

Typical role: Shielding covers and housings

Tin-coated steel sheet, commonly used for formed covers and shields.

    2 products

  • Aluminium

    Type: Metal

Typical role: Lightweight conductive or support parts

Low weight with good conductivity; softer than copper alloys.

    1 product

  • PVC

    Type: Plastic, not a metal

Typical role: Electronic accessories such as insect-proof mesh

Non-conductive plastic used for accessory parts, never for metal contacts.

Sampling and orders

Send a drawing, then a quantity

Order quantity follows the MOQ stated on each product page. Lead times below are separate estimates, each with its own condition.

  1. 1

    Send the drawing or sample

Share your drawing requirements, or describe the part and its application.

  2. 2

    Review and sample

The part is reviewed against your drawing and a sample is prepared for approval.

  3. 3

    Production order

Confirm the quantity, which must meet the MOQ shown on that product, and schedule production.

Drawing formats

  • CAD
  • DWG
  • STEP
  • PDF
  • IGS

Your inquiry will ask for the quantity and for the drawing or specification you have.

Lead time estimates

Sample lead time
10–15 days
Estimate for samples; depends on the drawing and tooling needed.
Routine production
10–15 days
Estimate for routine orders; depends on part, material and quantity.
Bulk orders
35–40 days
Estimate for large quantities; depends on part and order size.
